Maisie Mai was born from the value of family, named after my great-great Grandmother, Mable Biddlecombe who was then given the nickname of “Maisie”. Inspired by my great- grandmothers and grandmothers life Maisie Mai explores the importance of generational skill and family heritage through fashion. At a young age I was taught how to sew by my grandmother, from making bags to hair accessories, garments to finally my prom dress, I carry these skills through my design and making process.
At Maisie Mai we endeavour to focus on detail and quality perfection, this shown through our manufacturing process. Each garment is made to your precise measurements, by doing so we can ensure fit perfection and quality assurance. Growing up, I witnessed the women in my life struggle finding perfectly fitting dresses, therefore I wanted this to be the heart of the Maisie Mai production process.
